Compounded semaglutide
Claya review
Semaglutide is the cheaper of Claya's two injections. After a discounted first box at $179, each four-week refill costs $299 whatever your dose. Thirteen refills a year put the real monthly cost near $325.
Is it right for you?
Worth a look if
- You want one semaglutide price that won't change when your provider raises the dose.
- You like having a care coach and a tracking app alongside the prescription.
- You're new to GLP-1 shots and want someone to message about side effects without booking a visit.
Skip it if
- You only need a low starting dose for a while and would rather pay a dose-based price.
- You need the right to a refund after the pharmacy has filled your order.
What's included
Each shipment of Claya's compounded semaglutide is a four-week supply for four weekly shots. The checkout calls it the 1-Month Plan and labels semaglutide "Most Affordable." The same refill price applies from the first dose to the highest.
Claya's semaglutide page says its injection uses the same active ingredient as Ozempic and Wegovy. Claya also sells semaglutide as tablets and drops, but the plan reviewed here is the weekly injection. The page notes that the clinical trials it cites tested the brand products, not compounded versions.
Included with the plan are free dose increases, unlimited provider consults, expedited shipping, an injection kit and 24/7 support. Claya's medical advisory team lists Jennifer Habashy, NMD, and cardiologist Dr. Michael Barber.
From sign-up to refills
- Answer Claya's short health quiz. It asks about your weight, history and any GLP-1 you've taken before.
- Select semaglutide and the 1-Month Plan on the checkout page, and pay by card.
- A licensed provider checks your answers and writes the prescription if it fits.
- The pharmacy ships the semaglutide. Orders approved before the daily cutoff can go out the same day.
- Every four weeks the plan bills again and a new supply ships. Your provider and coach adjust the dose between refills.
What's good, what isn't
What's good
- Claya's semaglutide refill stays at $299 from the lowest dose to the highest.
- Dose increases and unlimited provider consults cost nothing extra on Claya's plan.
- Each patient gets a care coach and the Claya app for tracking, not just a prescription.
What isn't
- Claya bills every 28 days, so a year holds 13 charges instead of 12.
- The $179 Claya price covers only the first box; each refill after it costs $299.
- Once Claya's pharmacy order is placed, that cycle can't be refunded, and only the latest cycle is ever eligible.
Read these terms first
- Billing date
- Send any cancellation two or more days before the billing date. A later request lets one more charge through before the plan stops.
- Injection or tablet
- Claya sells semaglutide tablets and drops at different prices. Make sure the checkout shows the injection if that's what you want.
- What the total includes
- One treatments page mentions a separate monthly membership fee. The checkout itself says everything is included, so confirm the final total there.

Common questions about Claya
- Is Claya legit?
- Claya is a Nevada-based telehealth company. A licensed provider reviews every intake before anything is prescribed, and partner pharmacies in Utah and Kentucky fill orders. Its semaglutide is compounded, not Wegovy or Ozempic, and Claya states that compounded drugs are not evaluated by the FDA.
- How much is Claya semaglutide per month?
- The first box is $179. After that, Claya charges $299 for each four-week supply at any dose, which is about $325 per calendar month. Claya's tirzepatide runs about $434.
- Does Claya take insurance?
- No. Claya is a cash-pay service and doesn't bill insurance.
- Can you cancel Claya?
- Yes. Claya lets you cancel for any reason by email or in your account, as long as the request comes two days before billing. Treatment continues until the paid cycle ends.
