What's included

According to ElixaMD's FAQ, the program price covers your physician review, a personalized plan, one-to-one guidance, a metabolic report and the prescription itself, shipped to your door. Refills are locked in at $199 and carry the same benefits. Delivery is free and expedited.

Clinicians from OpenLoop Health, a network of U.S.-licensed doctors, make the prescribing decision. Prescriptions are filled by one of three partner pharmacies: Triad Rx in Alabama, RedRock Pharmacy in Utah, or Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding in Texas. The medicine is cash-pay, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

From sign-up to refills

  1. Answer the online assessment: height, weight, goal, date of birth and a checklist of health conditions.
  2. Check out to start the subscription. ElixaMD's policy says membership begins once the intake is done and the first month is paid.
  3. An OpenLoop Health clinician meets with you after checkout and decides whether to prescribe.
  4. If you're approved, the partner pharmacy ships the medication straight to you.
  5. Refills bill monthly. Support is available around the clock through the patient portal chat.
