Compounded semaglutide
Trillium Meds review
Trillium Meds lets you choose the pharmacy before you pay, and its one-month semaglutide plan is $159 at any dose. There's no membership fee. Your card is only held at checkout and gets charged once a provider actually writes the prescription.
Is it right for you?
Worth a look if
- You want to pick between a glycine formulation and a plain one, and see which pharmacy makes it.
- You'd like the charge to wait until a prescription is issued.
- You're new to GLP-1s and could use the three-month starter plan for the first titration steps.
Skip it if
- You need medication within a few days, since orders ship 7 to 10 business days after approval.
- You want a refund option once the prescription has reached the pharmacy.
What's included
Trillium is a platform, not a clinic or a pharmacy. Providers from Wasef Health review intakes and prescribe. For semaglutide you choose between two listed options: a glycine formulation from Hyalo Technologies, filled by NewLife Pharmacy, or a non-additive version from Hallandale Pharmacy.
Prices match across both. The one-month plan is $159 for one vial at any dose. A three-month plan covers three vials at any dose, and a cheaper three-month starter plan is limited to people new to GLP-1s. Each option shows its FedEx shipping, beyond-use date and the states it ships to.
Hallandale doesn't ship to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota or Mississippi. The Hyalo option ships to every state. HSA and FSA cards work, and some three- and six-month plans can be split with Klarna or Affirm.
From sign-up to refills
- Compare pharmacies on the weight management page, then start the secure health intake.
- Check out. Trillium places an authorization hold for the full amount rather than a charge.
- A Wasef Health provider reviews your intake, typically within 1 to 3 business days. Some states, including Louisiana and Mississippi, require a phone appointment.
- If a prescription is issued, the hold is captured and the order goes to your chosen pharmacy. If not, the hold is released.
- Most orders ship within 7 to 10 business days of approval. Refills renew automatically until you pause or turn off auto-renew in the portal.
What's good, what isn't
What's good
- Before the intake starts, Trillium names each pharmacy, its formulation and where it ships.
- A declined intake costs nothing at Trillium, because the card hold is released without a charge.
- The one-month semaglutide plan costs the same at 0.25 mg as at the top dose.
What isn't
- Trillium quotes 7 to 10 business days to ship after approval, slower than many sellers.
- Once a prescription reaches the pharmacy, Trillium treats every charge as final and non-refundable.
- The Hallandale option skips nine states, including California, Michigan and Massachusetts.
Read these terms first
- Auto-renew
- Refills renew on their own. Turning off auto-renew stops future refills but may not stop an order that's already processing.
- Canceling an order
- The window to cancel closes when the prescription goes to the pharmacy. Trillium says a text message is the fastest way to reach it in time.
- Your state and pharmacy
- Pick a pharmacy that ships to you. Washington DC, Louisiana, Mississippi and Puerto Rico need a live appointment for every visit.

Common questions about Trillium Meds
- Is Trillium Meds legit?
- Trillium Meds LLC is based in Portland, Oregon, and says it is LegitScript certified. Providers work through Wasef Health, and named 503A pharmacies fill the orders. Compounded semaglutide isn't FDA-approved, which Trillium states across its site.
- How much is Trillium Meds semaglutide per month?
- $159 on the one-month plan, for one vial at any dose. Three-month plans cost less per month, and new patients can take a starter plan with the first three titration doses.
- Does Trillium Meds take insurance?
- No. It's self-pay by card. HSA or FSA reimbursement may work, and Klarna or Affirm is offered on some longer plans.
- Can you cancel Trillium Meds?
- You can pause or turn off auto-renew under My Treatments in the portal. An order already sent to the pharmacy can't be canceled or refunded, so act before that point.
