What's included

The monthly program costs $399 and covers every semaglutide dose your physician prescribes. WeightCare's product page lists it with “No price increases” and “Even at highest dose.” Each month includes a check-in with your physician, unlimited secure messaging and anti-nausea medication if you need it.

Board-certified physicians handle the telehealth visit, and an accredited U.S. pharmacy fills the prescription. It ships in a small box with ice packs. WeightCare says it should arrive within 5 to 7 business days of the prescription being written.

Longer plans exist. The 3-, 6- and 12-month programs cost less per month but are paid up front, and the 3-month plan is aimed at new patients on starter doses. The monthly program is the one you can walk away from after any month.

WeightCare is run by Weightless Medical LLC, the name on its terms of service. Affirm financing is offered, and the program is HSA and FSA eligible.

From sign-up to refills

  1. Pick the monthly semaglutide program on WeightCare's site and pay for the first month.
  2. Answer the medical questionnaire about your health history and weight loss goals.
  3. A board-certified physician reviews it and connects with you through the telehealth platform, usually the same day.
  4. Once you're approved, the pharmacy ships the medication to your door with tracking.
  5. Seven days before each renewal, WeightCare sends a notice. After the charge you fill in a short refill questionnaire so the physician can keep, lower or raise your dose.
