Loop Health review
At Loop Health, compounded semaglutide costs $199 a month whether you inject it or take it by mouth, and the price is the same at every dose. You get it through Loop's coaching membership, which also covers live group sessions and a bloodwork dashboard. Refund terms aren't published yet.
Is it right for you?
Worth a look if
- You haven't decided between a weekly shot and an oral form, since both cost $199 a month.
- You like learning in a group, with coaches running weekly calls and a library of recorded sessions.
- You plan to get bloodwork done and want member pricing on the panels.
Skip it if
- You need to read a refund policy before you commit.
- You want a single named medical group responsible for your care.
What's included
Loop's shop page lists semaglutide two ways: an injection at $199 a month and an oral form at the same $199. Both carry an “All doses” label, so moving up in strength doesn't change what you pay. The shop pitches its GLP-1 care around microdosing, but the dose you get is up to your clinician.
The prescriber is an independent licensed clinician, not a Loop employee. Loop Health, LLC calls itself a technology platform that connects you with that clinician. Care can happen through a written intake, a video or phone visit, or secure messaging.
Membership brings Loop's protocol library, a tracker for doses and side effects, a GLP-1 community group and syncing with Oura, Whoop and Apple Watch. Bloodwork panels are sold to members at cost, and a private coach call is an extra charge. Stephanie Gambetta, the founder, signs the homepage note.
From sign-up to refills
- Choose semaglutide on the shop page and start the intake. After the first question you're asked for an email so your answers are saved.
- Tell Loop about your goals, medical history and past treatments. From that it builds a suggested plan and matches you with a coach.
- A licensed clinician reviews your answers and decides whether to prescribe. They may ask for a video or audio visit first.
- A licensed compounding pharmacy fills the prescription. Loop says each compound comes with a third-party certificate of analysis.
- Your plan renews every month until you cancel from account settings.
What's good, what isn't
What's good
- Oral semaglutide and the injection cost the same $199 a month on Loop's shop page.
- Members can sync an Oura ring, Whoop or Apple Watch and follow biomarker trends on a bloodwork dashboard.
- Lab panels are offered to Loop members at cost, billed on top of the membership.
What isn't
- The “Return & Refund Policy” page is empty apart from a note that it's being finalized.
- Loop Health doesn't name the compounding pharmacies that prepare its semaglutide.
- Its terms send any dispute to arbitration under California law, with no jury and no class action.
Read these terms first
- What a refund looks like
- With no written policy, ask Loop's support team what you get back if you're not prescribed, before you pay anything.
- Whether membership stays free
- Loop describes the membership as “Free for now,” with monthly billing and cancel-anytime terms. Check your checkout screen for any membership line next to the medication.
- Where you live
- Loop isn't available in every state, and the clinician must be licensed where you are during the visit. Ask Loop about your state first.
